Cut outs

1. Drexton edited: 01-10-10, 1:00am-Rexburg Idaho; f5.6, 1/8; Nikon D3000
2. Drexton undited: complete cutout with quick cut tool on white background.

If I had to do this project again I would have used a different photo. Cutting around my friends hair turned out to be more difficult than I had originally expected. The photo was fun to take and more fun to make a floating head.

  2. I'm impressed by your cutting with the hair and everything. That's tough and you did a great job! I was going to choose a picture of a cat, but once I started trying to do the fur, I gave up. So, way to take the challenge and dominate. Well done!

  4. I agree with everyone else, I can't believe how well the hair on your cutout turned out. You must have a lot of patience. Good job.

  5. Andrew - I like that you chose to cut out a head, instead of some inanimate object like the rest of us chose. :) The face adds great comedic value, and your good job of cutting out doesn't detract from it. Woo!
